Breaking Into SAP Sample Lesson

What is Breaking Into SAP all about?

If you have been working in SAP for less than two years, or if you are trying to land your first job in SAP, this is the course you need to understand how to start and maintain a successful career in SAP. In short, this course will teach you everything you need to know to learn a new module and then land a new job. This course teaches something no other course addresses: How to navigate the SAP employment market, and how to use industry standard hiring practices to your advantage. The course also teaches the real-world SAP skills, both technical and otherwise, that you are going to need to land your first, second, and twentieth job in SAP.

 Breaking Into SAP

My goal for this course was to help the hundreds of people who write me email asking how to break into SAP. Here is the response from one of the first Breaking Into SAP students:

"Jim, You asked me if I was satisfied with the value of the course, the answer is 'most definately.' The amount of information is good and you have found a good track with the visual flash guides and SAP simulations. They are really informative and play a bigger part in the course than I thought... Andrew"

This student is responding to the many simulations that I provide with the course DVD, which walk you through most important aspects of learning SAP, and learning to take advantage of the best job opportunities in the marketplace.

It's important to note that this course is different from every other course you will find. Elsewhere you may find a EUR$1500 set of CDs that will show you the FICO configuration, or the MM configuration. I don't believe this will help you land a job in SAP. Understanding what employers are looking for, and understanding the underlying forces driving hiring decisions, understanding how to use recruiters to your advantage, and yes, understanding the underlying tehcnical components of SAP are most important.

This course will give you the skills and introduce you to the resources that you will need to acquire experience in every module that SAP has today, and in every module that they will ever deploy. In short, this course helps you LEARN the right way to LEARN SAP.

Perhaps more importantly, it teaches you what to do with the knowledge that you gain by the study of SAP, and it shows you what to do after you have landed your first job in SAP.

Here's another good inquiry:

"I am very much interested in your SAP course. My basic education is Diploma in Electronics and communication (ie 3 year polytechnic diploma). I have 8 years experience in various electronics product at Servicing.includiing 4 years experience in an authorised repair centre.

Considering all my experience and education, am I elgible for SAP course?

a) If I'm elgible for SAP course, which module would you suggest?

b) Can I do Functional or Technical (as i dont have idea on software developement)?

c) After completion of your SAP course what kind of job can I get?

d) Is there any course for SAP Oil & Gas?"

Everyone is eligible to train in Breaking Into SAP, however, I believe that those with at least two years of post-secondard (college, technical college, or university) will be most successful. I think you would be very well suited for Breaking Into SAP. I'd like to answer each one of your questions separately.

a) During the very first week we help you understand how to select a module that is best for you. There are many factors, including your current work experience - but many other factors that you will only find in Breaking Into SAP.

b) We have specific suggestions about choosing functional versus technical. This is also covered in the very first week.

c) You will be prepared to start interviewing for work as a qualified SAP professional in the module of your choice.

d) SAP IS-Oil & Gas is one of the hottest functional areas at the moment. If you have any interest in this area, you will learn how to gain experience in this module, how to prepare to interview, how to properly engage recruiters and to land a job in SAP Oil & Gas.

As you can see, there is a large focus on preparing for the SAP job market that you won't find in other courses. Elsewhere you may find a great course that will help you configure SAP MM-Pur or you may find a course that, for USD$800 will simply walk you through the FICO transactions. But what good is this without any context, or specific help about how to employ this knowledge?

Breaking Into SAP is going to show you, step by step, how to obtain the knowledge and experience you will need to get a job in SAP.

Now this will not come easy. I have purposefully spread the material out over 8 weeks time. Of course after receiving your DVD in the mail you may simply burn through all of the videos, go through all of the training and simulation files, and read all of the content. Of course this will probably take you 12 hours straight - but the material is best engaged over an 8 week period.

You will have research and outside study. You will have many tasks - because Breaking Into SAP is difficult. You will have to work hard to learn the skills necessary to become an SAP professional. But when you haev completed the course, you will be prepared to start interviewing for SAP jobs.
